Easiest route up Hambledon Hill | 3.2 miles

Date:

There are lots of routes up Hambledon Hill, but this, from Shroton, is the easiest route on the lungs!

There are numerous routes up Hambledon Hill from most compass points, but we always find this one up the west face is the most gentle. Once you’ve made it to the top you can explore freely, enjoying csome of the best views in the county from the Iron Age lumps and bumps as you circuit the ancient settlement ridges.
Be aware there are often cattle grazing on the summit in summer so do keep your dogs under control.

To avoid street parking on the narrow lanes of the village there is parking on Main Street, opposite the church.
