Category: Dorset Food & Drink

The Dorset Food and Drink section, bringing you the best of North Dorset’s food and drink scene. Crammed so full of goodness, you may never want to leave!
From where to eat to what to eat. Drink?  We’ve got you – wine to cider to beer, small batch craft gin and artisan local liqueurs, we have got it all.

Oh and the wine – we offer excellent choices and advice from Vineyards of Sherborne. Harpers Wine No.5 Best Indie Wine Merchant in the UK & ‘Best in the South West’ Regional Winner 2021.

‘Meet your Local’ is a regular monthly feature where we meeet the face behind the counter of local Dorset pubs and small independent shops selling terrific produce with provenance.

And not forgetting our very own in-house recipe writer and foodie fanatic Heather Brown, who is on the committee of the Guild of Food Writers; a home economist with a passion for Dorset’s brilliant foodie scene. Heather runs Dorset Foodie Feed, championing Dorset’s food and drink businesses, as well as working with her food industry clients.

We’re also proud to be media partner for the Love Local, Trust Local Awards – the space for which in each magazine is made possible by the kind sponsorship of Blanchards Bailey
