Windborne: “To Warm the Winter Hearth”

An evening of folklore, magic, and mystery with this internationally acclaimed vocal group. Hailing from New England, USA, Windborne are known for their powerful and innovative four-part vocal harmonies, shifting effortlessly between dramatically different styles of traditional music. With a twenty-year background studying polyphonic music from around the world, Lauren Breunig, Jeremy Carter-Gordon, Lynn Rowan, and Will Rowan effortlessly showcase an unrivalled mastery of polyphonic music from diverse cultures. With To Warm the Winter Hearth, expect an evening of folklore, magic, and mystery as this outstanding group return to Dorset with welcoming wassails, songs of solstice, and music for midwinter, performed in English, Occitan, and Lithuanian. Very talented and well-practised vocal group. They are going to be in the UK from 17th January so good idea to catch them if you can!
