Our increasingly popular Craft Fairs with Afternoon Tea at Sixpenny Handley Village Hall continue on Saturday 27 August from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm.
There will be various arts, crafts and homemade produce stalls, including wood turned products, jewellery, bags, cards and many more. There will also be a spinning demonstration by our resident village crafter where you can learn how to spin simply using a stick! Children and adults will also have a chance to have a go at using a spindle.
To accompany your pot of tea or mug of coffee, there will be a variety of freshly made sandwiches, scones with jam and cream (or cream and jam if you prefer!) plus an array of delicious homemade cakes.
We are a friendly bunch of volunteers who are running this free event for all the family to raise funds for our village hall. So, if you’re looking for something to do for a couple of hours on 27 August why not come along and join in the fun; we look forward to welcoming you to our hall. There’s plenty of parking and we are keeping our fingers crossed that the sun will shine so that you can enjoy your tea outside.
We are intending to continue to run these events monthly so if you are interested in having a table at a future event, please do get in touch. The next event is planned for Saturday 24 September. For more information or to book a table, please contact us at: 6dhandleyhall@gmail.com or 07951 056069
