Choral Evensong

You are warmly invited to our monthly cathedral-style service of Choral Evensong on Saturday 22nd October at 4.30pm in St Peter’s Church, Dorchester. To mark the 150th anniversary of Vaughan Williams’s birth, the service includes hymn tunes by the composer as well as ‘O taste and see’ as the introit. Other music includes: Sumsion ‘Magnificat and Nunc dimittis in G’, Ayleward ‘Preces & Responses’ and Ireland ‘Greater love hath no man’. Peter Nardone is at the organ and Ian Davis directing. Please join us for a glass of wine after the service.
