As in the Bard’s day, Festival Players tour as an all-male troupe of skilled professional actors. Supported by their patron, Dame Judi Dench, the company has a growing international reputation for presenting the very best in open-air Shakespeare and are committed to providing accessible and enjoyable performances for all.
This summer, Festival Players invites you to share in the colour, poetry, and magical mayhem of Shakespeare’s popular fantasy comedy, ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ as they return to Dorset to perform with Artsreach, the counties touring arts charity. Expect an exhilarating evening of open-air entertainment!
* Please note that this is an outdoor performance – dress for all weather and bring your own chairs, rugs and cushions. Assistance dogs only. A hog roast and bar is available from 6pm
