The Gillingham and Shaftesbury Show celebrates everything that is great about great British agriculture, the countryside and rural life. This brilliant show offers a full day of entertainment. From livestock judging to falconry displays, the food and much more. Local businesses are the beating heart of the Show. The food and drink area features amongst others street food and is surrounded by local producers. With picnic tipis alongside the craft & countryside area and new large Wessex Shopping Pavilion. The Gillingham and Shaftesbury show not only brings together the Dorset region but showcases the very best of rural life from the modern world right up to where it all began, the history and heritage of the countryside from the new Steam Section and Heavy Horse Village to educating on how food gets onto our plates. Last year the show welcomed over 30,000 visitors through it’s gates. This year it will continue to strive as a Show with Agriculture at its heart for Dorset, Wiltshire & Somerset.
