The Purbeck School Science Fair
28 February @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Join us for an exciting afternoon of science, discovery, and hands‑on learning at the Purbeck Science Fair 2026, taking place on Saturday 28 February, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at The Purbeck School, Worgret Road, Wareham BH20 4PF.
This popular annual event brings together a large number of exhibitors, offering a wide range of scientific demonstrations, interactive activities, and inspiring displays suitable for all ages. Among this year’s featured exhibitors are the ever‑popular Science Dome, delivering immersive science shows, and Teacher Creatures, who will be showcasing fascinating live animals and discussing the science behind them.
Visitors can also take part in a series of exciting workshops led by Purbeck School staff, including:
- Geology Rocks – exploring the wonders of rocks, fossils, and Earth science
- Fantastic Physics – hands‑on investigations into forces, motion, and electricity
- Craft a Creature – designing and constructing imaginative biological creations
- Chemical Reactions – dramatic demonstrations revealing the power of chemistry
With so many exhibitors and activities to explore, there is something to spark curiosity in every visitor—whether you’re passionate about the natural world, fascinated by physical science, or simply eager to try something new. The school café will also be open throughout the afternoon for refreshments.
This is a free event and open to all members of the community. We look forward to welcoming you for an afternoon of inspiration, learning, and scientific fun at the Purbeck Science Fair 2026.
