GOOD VIBRATIONS – A TUNEFUL TALK FOR EVERYONE

Soundwaves and stories come together as Wimborne u3a’s final talk of the season looks set to hit all the right notes.

On Friday December 12th, presenters Jacqueline and Brian Sutton invite you on a nostalgic journey through the birth of British pop music, celebrating the genius of pioneering sound engineer and record producer Joe Meek. From the chart-topping “Telstar” to the legendary Tea Chest Tapes, this feel-good presentation is packed with toe-tapping tunes and heartwarming memories. It’s a musical time machine you won’t want to miss.

All talks take place at Wesley Hall, Methodist Church, King Street in Wimborne at 10am for a 10.30am start. No booking required. £2 for u3a members; £4 for non-members.
