Whether you’re a local or simply visiting, you want to know if there’s a car boot sale on this weekend, a church jumble sale or a 5k fun run. Maybe you’re looking for a local comedy night, an amateur dramatics production, and let’s not forget carol singing or village fetes.
And obviously don’t forget to sign up to receive the monthly BV magazine here too.
A pop up, free to the public drop in!
In a safe, welcoming and accessible space. Always the last Wednesday of every month, at Shaftesbury Town Hall.
What can you expect?
We invite organisations from across Dorset to attend, who otherwise would find it difficult to provide support to people living in the rural north of the county.
Inside, you can find information about all things mental health and wellbeing, what’s available in the community, plus your chance to tell us what you think is needed!
Everyone is welcome, you can even bring your pets!
Pop in and see us anytime between 2 and 6pm. We look forward to welcoming you!
Rural Mental Health Matters is a Dorset based social enterprise focused on tackling inequality in mental health support.
Because we believe that where people live and work should not be a barrier to accessing support when they need it.
We all have mental health!
It all starts with a cuppa and a conversation.
We are also looking for volunteers to help. Meet and greeters, fundraisers and people to help us get funding.
We are not currently funded by any organisation, so we rely on volunteers to help keep this much needed project going!
