The Dorset Island Disc Section, it’s a play on that famous radio show of course but right here in Dorset.
Dorset doesn’t have many islands so you will just have to close your eyes and imagine we are surrounded by water
We invite well-known Dorset community figures and characters to take part in the classic concundrum.
Each guest must choose just eight of their most meaningful songs or pieces of music to be ‘cast away with. Also on their Dorset island they can bring along one book and one luxury item.
Music is subjective of course, and there is no right or wrong answers to the chosen pieces. It’s a very personal section, but loads of fun.
