DESCRIPTION:This year marks the seventieth anniversary of the founding of the Bruton Art Society\, established in 1953 by Mrs Joy Barnes who trained at Chelsea School of Art\, where Henry Moore was her tutor for sculpture and Graham Sutherland for illustration.\nSince then the Society has held an Annual Exhibition in the town of Bruton which has achieved a reputation for excellence\, showcasing some of the best amateur and professional artists in the South West.\nThis year is no exception. The Exhibition will be held in the beautiful Memorial Hall\, King’s School Bruton\, from the 19th to the 26th August\, from 10am – 4pm daily. Entry is free and there is parking onsite.

DESCRIPTION:The Tarrant Valley Players are preparing for their next fabulous Panto\, which will grace the stage at the Anne Biddlecombe Hall\, Tarrant Keyneston on Thursday 25 – Saturday 27 January 2024. \nWritten by Alexis Austin\, “A Space Oddity” is set in the depths of space and pits the incredible Captain Flash and his crew against the evil Empress Mange in an age old tale of good versus evil. \nKeen to know more?\nKeen to see who comes out on top?\nKeen to have fun by the bucketful?\nThen join us for auditions at 7pm at the Anne Biddlecombe Hall\, Tarrant Keyneston on either Wednesday 30 / Thursday 31 August. \nWe hope you enjoy the rest of your summer and very much look forward to seeing you there.
