We look forward to welcoming you!\nRural Mental Health Matters is a Dorset based social enterprise focused on tackling inequality in mental health support.\nBecause we believe that where people live and work should not be a barrier to accessing support when they need it.\nWe all have mental health!\nIt all starts with a cuppa and a conversation. \nWe are also looking for volunteers to help. Meet and greeters\, fundraisers and people to help us get funding. \nWe are not currently funded by any organisation\, so we rely on volunteers to help keep this much needed project going!

DESCRIPTION:Gathering with Bishop Joseph\, in aid of CRESS Lent projects 2023. \nFriday 10th March\, 6.30 – 8.00pm at Broad Chalke Village Hall\, SP5 5DN. \nThis informative social evening gives you the opportunity to speak with Bishop Joseph Aba who has headed up the CRESS projects since the charity was founded in March 2010. You will hear him speak about how impoverished the people are BUT how much their lives are given hope and transformation by the CRESS charity funded projects. \nEntrance is free but donations are welcomed and there will be a paying bar. \nBishop Joseph has oversight of 117\,000 refugees spread in the bush and across several refugee camps in Northern Uganda. Over half of these people attend his churches and he confirmed 2\,000 people in 2022 into the Anglican church.

DESCRIPTION:What do you see when you enter a museum? But what don’t you see and whose voices might you hear? \n‘Ways of Seeing’ will reflect stories behind two of the Museum’s objects suggested by Museum staff: the fragmented Roman fresco from the excavated Tarrant Hinton villa\, depicting the myth of Narcissus and Echo\, and the Victorian camera\, used by Job Pottle (19th century) and Jimmy James (20th century) in their Eastbrook Photographic studio to capture images in Wimborne Town Centre. \n‘Ways of Seeing’ is a joint production by Wimborne Community Theatre (WCT) and Millstream Theatre who perform original\, site-specific theatre\, bringing to life East Dorset stories often hidden or overlooked\, in a way\, that brings together past\, present and future – rather like Museum of East Dorset does!
