DESCRIPTION:b-side is an internationally recognised and locally loved arts organisation that both embodies and enriches its place of origin – the Isle of Portland in Dorset. \nThis year\, b-side Festival returns for their 2022 edition\, launching 15 brand new artworks under the theme of ‘Common Lands’ which invites visitors to explore their relationship to the unique landscape of Portland. \nTaking place across four days between September 8th-11th\, Portland will host both local and international artists who will take festival-goers on an experimental tour around this distinctive part of the UK\, exploring its history through their creative visions. From abseiling down Portland’s infamous cliffsides to a one-to-one poetry workshop\, to diving into an augmented reality artwork of mythical mermaids and taking part in print and banner-making workshops\, there’s something for all the family to enjoy. \nThe festival will also culminate in The Big Portland Parade\, where attendees will be invited to a joint celebration of Portland. DESCRIPTION:The Healing Weekend at Lighthouse Holistic Festival returns to Poole for its 12th year on Saturday 7 & Sunday 8 February 2026\, bringing a vibrant weekend of wellbeing\, inspiration and spiritual exploration to Dorset’s iconic arts venue. \nOften described as a magical winter indoor festival\, the event is the sister festival to The Healing Weekend summer gathering in Somerset\, and offers something for everyone — from those on a spiritual path\, to visitors looking to support their health and wellbeing\, or simply enjoy the atmosphere and browse the stands. \nAcross the weekend\, visitors can explore a packed programme of talks\, workshops\, demonstrations and performance\, all included with entry\, alongside a wide range of holistic stalls and exhibitors.\nA special highlight is “An Evening of Mediumship & Psychic Art” on the Saturday evening\, featuring a line-up of gifted mediums and psychic artists including Patrick Gamble\, Greg Smith\, Antony Doveton\, Melayne Stone and Allison Michaela. \nThe festival is also raising funds for Dorset Cancer Care\, held in loving memory of Jane McCheyne. \nElaine Fenton\, event organiser\, said: \n“The Healing Weekend at Lighthouse Holistic Festival is a warm\, welcoming weekend where people can take a breath\, feel inspired\, and enjoy a real sense of community.
