A small fee will be applicable per child to raise funds for the Teddy20 charity. Santa visits will take place from 11.15am-2pm. \nThe Buzz Café will be open selling mulled wine\, hot chocolate\, mince pies and delicious cakes made by our CRT volunteers.

Among this year’s featured exhibitors are the ever‑popular Science Dome\, delivering immersive science shows\, and Teacher Creatures\, who will be showcasing fascinating live animals and discussing the science behind them. \nVisitors can also take part in a series of exciting workshops led by Purbeck School staff\, including: \n\nGeology Rocks – exploring the wonders of rocks\, fossils\, and Earth science\nFantastic Physics – hands‑on investigations into forces\, motion\, and electricity\nCraft a Creature – designing and constructing imaginative biological creations\nChemical Reactions – dramatic demonstrations revealing the power of chemistry\n\nWith so many exhibitors and activities to explore\, there is something to spark curiosity in every visitor—whether you’re passionate about the natural world\, fascinated by physical science\, or simply eager to try something new. The school café will also be open throughout the afternoon for refreshments. \nThis is a free event and open to all members of the community. DESCRIPTION:From Friday April 3\, Friday Farm Walks will run weekly from 2pm to 3pm through to September at Bere Marsh Farm\, Shillingstone. Led by Hannah Bosence\, members of the volunteer team and guest leaders\, the walks explore the meadows\, river and floodplain at Bere Marsh Farm\, highlighting how agroecological farming practices support wildlife and benefit the local area. Walkers will also gain access to usually private areas\, including the Angela Hughes Nature Reserve and Ham Down. The Buzz Café will be open on walk days\, serving hot drinks and homemade cakes.
