DESCRIPTION:Join us for an exciting afternoon of science\, discovery\, and hands‑on learning at the Purbeck Science Fair 2026\, taking place on Saturday 28 February\, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at The Purbeck School\, Worgret Road\, Wareham BH20 4PF. \nThis popular annual event brings together a large number of exhibitors\, offering a wide range of scientific demonstrations\, interactive activities\, and inspiring displays suitable for all ages. Among this year’s featured exhibitors are the ever‑popular Science Dome\, delivering immersive science shows\, and Teacher Creatures\, who will be showcasing fascinating live animals and discussing the science behind them. \nVisitors can also take part in a series of exciting workshops led by Purbeck School staff\, including: \n\nGeology Rocks – exploring the wonders of rocks\, fossils\, and Earth science\nFantastic Physics – hands‑on investigations into forces\, motion\, and electricity\nCraft a Creature – designing and constructing imaginative biological creations\nChemical Reactions – dramatic demonstrations revealing the power of chemistry\n\nWith so many exhibitors and activities to explore\, there is something to spark curiosity in every visitor—whether you’re passionate about the natural world\, fascinated by physical science\, or simply eager to try something new. The school café will also be open throughout the afternoon for refreshments. \nThis is a free event and open to all members of the community.
