DESCRIPTION:Afternoon Tea will be taken in The Long Hall situated within The Coach House that is in the beautiful grounds of Athelhampton House and Gardens\, a Tudor House which is a popular Dorset attraction.  It was quoted by Sir Frederick Treves “that it was without question the most picturesque house in the county.”  \nAfternoon tea will consist of scones\, with Dorset clotted cream and fruit jam\, a selection of small cakes and a selection of finger sandwiches including tea or coffee. Please advise of any dietary requirements at the time of booking so that staff are aware before the event.  \nAlso\, included there will be a 30-minutes talk by Owen\, the Houses’ Tour Guide on the History of Athelhampton House.  \nIf you would like to visit the House and/or Gardens before the Afternoon Tea\, there is an additional charge which has not been included in the event price ticket.   \nAthelhampton is located between Puddletown and Tolpuddle with excellent road links. Postcode: DT2 7LG  \nBy road on the A35 from Dorchester to Poole or A354 from Blandford follow the brown signs at the “Northbrook” junction and turn left at the traffic lights in Puddletown.  \nPremium Member Ticket Price £27.00  \nFree Member/Guest Member Ticket Price £29.00  \nBooking is essential to reserve your place\, please do so by 10 October 2025 as numbers are required to be advised to the venue.
